You will recall that the Inspector at the Planning Inspectorate has decided that the appeal needs to be handled by an Inquiry. Further good news is that our group has now been granted Rule 6 status.
This means that FrackFreeDudleston will be debating the case alongside both the Council and Dart. First we need to agree a timetable that is suitable to all parties and then at the public review meeting we will be stating our case alongside the other parties without the restrictive three minute rule of a planning meeting.
All three parties are able to call witnesses and to cross examine each others’ witnesses, along similar lines to a courtroom.
This is another very encouraging step in the right direction.
